Bath Home Physio provides one-to-one physiotherapy from the comfort of your own home. The benefits of home physiotherapy is undoubtedly a huge plus to older patients who cannot easily leave their home. However, there are many more benefits in using a private physiotherapist than simply being seen at home.
All of my physiotherapy and rehabilitation is performed directly at your own home (or care home), removing the worry about making travel arrangements to a clinic, tackling traffic, parking or using public transport. View physiotherapy services available.
I allow up to 75 minutes for my initial appointments. This extended assessment time is designed specifically to make you feel at ease, and allows you to communicate your problems, worries and concerns without feeling rushed.
NHS wait times can be excessively long resulting in a knock on to your recovery. With Bath Home Physio, appointments are available significantly quicker with regular on-going care. Please get in touch to arrange an intial assessment.
As your private one-to-one physiotherapist, I will create a personalised rehabilitation plan focussed around your own personal ambitions and lifestyle. With regular sessions, you can trust and feel comfortable with the treatment you receive at home.
Regular one-to-one physiotherapy helps keep you fit and mobile, maximising your independence and quality of life. Whether you simply wish to feel more confident around your own home, have ambitions to get back outside or continue gardening, I’m here to help you reach your full potential.
Have you ever had physio before and been given some generic exercises with no contact until the next session? I will contact you between sessions to hold you accountable to your tailored exercise programme, helping you to achieve results faster and keeping you on track. I can also answer any questions you might have and offer my professional advice.
If you are struggling with day-to-day activities around your home whether that be getting in and out of your chair or bed, getting on and off your toilet, mobilising, or standing for long periods, I can assess your home environment for any potential risks for falls and advise on any modifications, mobility aids or equipment that you might benefit from. The aim here is to enable you to be as independent and safe as possible at home.
As a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), I’m proud to be recognised to the highest standard as a private physiotherapist with over 10 years NHS experience. Read more about me for full details.
Following a recent fall and subsequent hip operation, I owe a debt of gratitude to Richard for his professional help and knowledge to my recovery.
